Relative abundances in LACA describe the composition of the sampled source datasets (which differ in tissues, dissociation protocols and platforms), not absolute organism-level cell abundance. PGLS statistics control for phylogenetic relatedness and body mass; all associations are descriptive and hypothesis-generating.
Interpretation: The abundance of Endothelial cells shows a negligible positive correlation with maximum lifespan (ฯ = +0.1045). However, this is not statistically significant (P = 0.2521).
