Research context

  • Check the dataset, species, tissue, cohort, assay, release, and analysis method before interpreting a result.
  • Do not present descriptive associations, predicted values, or exploratory outputs as validated causal or clinical findings.
  • Retain citations and provenance when reusing figures, summaries, identifiers, or derived results.

Source terms and licenses

  • The original provider remains authoritative for dataset access rules, permitted uses, licenses, attribution, and redistribution.
  • Public visibility on LACA does not by itself grant permission to redistribute source data or copyrighted material.
  • External services and linked repositories apply their own current terms.

Prohibited and inappropriate use

Protect people, systems, and data

  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, disruption, automated abuse, or circumvention of technical controls.
  • Do not submit private health information, participant identifiers, credentials, or confidential datasets through public fields or URL parameters.
  • Do not use portal output as the sole basis for a medical, employment, insurance, or other consequential decision about an individual.
