Spermaduct

The spermaduct, more commonly known as the vas deferens or ductus deferens, is a thick-walled, muscular tube that transports mature sperm from the tail of the epididymis to the ejaculatory duct. During ejaculation, its smooth muscle undergoes peristaltic contractions to propel sperm forward. It is a key structure in male reproductive anatomy and is surgically cut or sealed during a vasectomy for male sterilization.
